英语中关于"打"的动词

beat,hit,strike都有击，打的意思。

打在某人身体某一部位的习惯用法：hit/strike/beat sb.+in/on + the + 身体某部位。

1.beat

(1). 连续打击，指有意的行为。

eg. The lady beat dust out of her fur coat.这个女士拍打毛皮大衣上的灰尘。

(2).心脏跳动，鸟拍打翅膀，有规则的运动。

eg. She felt her heart beating fast.他感到她的心跳得很快。

(3). 在比赛中击败对手。用语较为正式场合，表示彻底击败对手。

eg.She beat her brother at tennis.她在网球上击败了她的兄弟。

2.defeat 击败，指在竞技，比赛中击败对手本身不分胜利的大小难易，而beat的使用更加广泛。

eg.He is sure to defeat his opponent in final.他确信能够最终击败他的对手。

3.win 赢得。eg.win a game

4.strike 撞击，敲打，划（火柴），一次性打击。

eg.He struck a match to smoke.他点燃了一支火柴。
